- What should my CV look like?
Your autobiography should have a reader-friendly structure. Let us know about your previous experience, starting from the position you have last occupied/you are currently occupying. It is a good idea to write your CV in the same language in which the vacant position offer is and that it is not longer than two pages.
- What should I do if I don’t find a vacant position in my field of interest?
In case you don’t find a vacant position in your field of interest, but you wish to be a part of our team, please send us your up-to-date CV at jobs@sofica-group.com. Your CV will be added to our applicants’ database and you will be contacted, if there is a position which matches your qualification and interests.
- Within what period can I expect to be contacted?
In case you are shortlisted our Human resources department will contact you within two weeks.
- What’s the purpose of a phone interview?
The purpose of the phone interview is to clarify some details about the position you are applying for, such as the nature of the work, workplace, working time, etc. A phone interview allows us to assess our applicants’ language and communication skills.
- How long does a phone interview take?
A phone interview usually takes about 15-20 minutes.
- How is the phone interview organized?
The phone interview can be conducted at the very moment a human resources representative contacts you. If however this particular time is not convenient for you, do not hesitate to make a new appointment or a day and time which are convenient for both parties.
- What kind of tests must the applicants do?
Depending on the position’s requirements the applicants do language and/or technical tests.
- What is an assessment center?
Assessment centers are a modern tool that enables us to objectively assess the participants’ knowledge, skills and attitude. Within the selection process these centers not only assess the extent to which an applicant is suitable for a particular position, but also give the applicants the opportunity to find out more about the company and the position they are applying for. The assessment centers within Sofica include a presentation of the company and the position, tests, role play exercises, cases and a brief conversation. Depending on the number of participants in the assessment center these could continue about 1,5 - 3 hours.
- Is a preliminary preparation needed for the tests/assessment centers?
No, it is not. The purpose of both tools is to assess your potential to deal with work without having to be prepared for every exercise. Just be yourself.
- How long do the tests take?
Depending on the test itself, it can take from 10 up to 60 minutes. Every applicant will be told about the duration of the test beforehand.
- Who conducts the interviews?
The interviews are conducted by a representative of the Human resources department and the leader of the department which you are applying for. It is also possible that the interview with the representative of the Human resources department or the interview with the leader of the department which you are applying for is conducted on the phone.
- How long does an interview take?
The duration of an interview usually ranges 25 and 60 minutes.
- Will I receive feedback on the results of the interview?
Every applicant receives written or oral feedback on the results of the interview from a representative of the Human resources department.
- What is the job offer like?
After successfully passing the selection process the approved applicant is given an oral or written job offer which contains all the details about the working terms.
